Men’s Shed
All men are welcome at Men’s Shed! It’s designed to give men an opportunity to engage in working on projects together, finding new friends, learning new skills and enjoying some friendly banter! And there’s always tea and biscuits of course! We provide training and support to help you fit in and to use our tools and equipment safely. If that sounds like something you would like to join in with, why not call in and see what we do?
We’re open at Clayton House on the Salterton Road in Exmouth on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week, between 10am and 4pm.
Although most of our current activity is centred on working with wood (wood turning, scroll saw, and general carpentry) or relaxing over a game of pool, we are also keen to explore other interests too, so if you have a skill that you’d like to pass on, or thoughts about what you’d like to do, let us know!
As part of Open Door Exmouth, Men’s Shed is a community project working for and with the community, so we also aim to undertake projects for local people who could use our help to make or fix things, to improve their circumstances. If you’re a local organisation or individual and you need help with a project, please get in touch to discuss it further.
