We just want to say a HUGE thank you to some wonderful individuals who have taken it upon themselves to fundraise for us just recently…
On the 11th-12th August, the wonderful Ray Baxter (local hairdresser and husband of our lovely chef, Kit) cycled from Ilfracombe to Plymouth, coast to coast! He wanted to raise money for Open Door and Mark & Dorcas in Zimbabwe, and did an amazing job of raising £400, giving us both £200, with gift aid, more like £250 each. Thank you so much Ray!! (pictured above).
Then on Thursday 21st Sept, the team at Santander on Rolle Street very kindly held a fundraising day in aid of Open Door, selling coffees and cakes and raising £111.64 which they have offered to match fund to bring the total raised to £223.28!! Thank you so much Santander and to all their customers who donated.
And finally, we are holding our own fundraiser!
