David Ley • Manager

David has been with us since 2001 and overseen a number of changes in opendoor’s activities. Services have grown under his leadership and the quality of services has improved. He is determined we should not stand still but respond to a constantly changing world. He worked as a director of a family business before training for church leadership at Oxford University; he brings a strong Christian commitment and a broad experience to the team. David serves on the leadership team at the Kings Way Church, Exmouth

Gary Conlin • Deputy manager

Gary joined us in June 2007 to help us expand and improve our services to the people we work with. He comes from a military background and has been a firefighter and a driving instructor. A variety of life experiences have equipped him to relate well to the people who use the Centre and encourage them on the road toward change. Gary is a member of Frontier Church, Exeter.

John Osman • Chef

John qualified as a chef in 1974 and since then has worked in a number of quality hotels, has trained chefs at the Marine Commando base, and has a wide range of culinary skills. He plans and organises café meals and works with us part-time to improve and develop menus. John has life experiences that give him an ability to be aware of the needs of many of our customers. He is a member of the Kings Way Church, Exmouth.
