The ICE Project has been working in Exmouth Community College for 25 years. Offering daily support through a drop in, ‘The Hub’ every break and lunchtime, and a mentoring service for young people struggling with issues including low self esteem, self harm, anger management, unhealthy relationships etc. The ICE team also deliver a programme of assemblies, RE lessons, lunch clubs, and events to boost self esteem, such as the ICE Awards, celebrating inspirational young people.
Outside of Exmouth Community College, the team also deliver transition work with Year 6’s and distribute leftover food from the school canteen to families in need.
During school holidays, we run the Holiday Cafe Scheme at the Community Cafe, providing free hot meals for young people where they or their families are in financial crisis. If your family is in need, please visit the Community Cafe on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday for support. For support agencies, please contact us for a referral form if you know of a family in need.
